Terry began his real estate career in 1988; he achieved the Million-Dollar Club and Top Referral Agent in his first year. Over the past 16 years, Terry has applied his communication skills and real estate knowledge to prosper both as an agent and as owner/operator of several companies. He has worked with various corporations in the York and Lancaster areas, and has successfully negotiated the purchase and lease of several hundred thousand square feet of space for company expansions and investments.
Through acquisitions and negotiations for industrial and commercial properties, Terry has acquired experience in dealing with federal and state laws, municipal regulations, and landlord/tenant relations. By building companies from the ground up, he has gained a valuable understanding of job requirements and limitations, and the importance of plant layouts for optimizing production flow and increasing efficiency. By creating new plant layouts and improvements for existing businesses, Terry has achieved results that produced a 30% increase in revenue.
In addition to college courses in real estate law and fundamentals, Terry has completed courses in business management, accounting, advanced computer training, and OSHA regulations. He is a member of the York Chamber of Commerce and the Lafayette Club, and is a board member of Leadership York. These affiliations allow him to meet and cement relationships with representatives of various businesses and industries in the York County area.
